In case of any confusion, we would like to clarify that the 2019 rally (and any future rallies) will definitely be at the SAME site as last year, which is 2km out of Waiouru (heading towards Ohakune) .
It has been brought to our attention that an ad in the events section of the latest Bike Rider Magazine states that this years rally is at Horopito.
This is NOT correct.
It was a fantastic rally last year and we hope to see you all back this year. Ps. Bring ya mates!
Please share this post and/or let anyone else know that may not be on Facebook.
Hope you’re all looking forward to this year’s rally. I’m happy to let you know that I have confirmed the band for Saturday night.
They are Greenfloor from Wanganui. 😁
Check out their facebook page and give them a 👍
And just in case you missed my post earlier this year, our Friday night band is The Blistered Fingers from Taranaki. Two awesome bands, two wicked nights. Be there or be ◾. You know you’ll kick yourself if you don’t!

On behalf of the Ruapehu Motorcycle Club, we would like to sincerely thank the following people, as without their help, the Cold Kiwi 2018 would not have happened:
Special thanks to The Christian Riders who helped out running the gate and numerous other tasks, they also supplied the bike hoist for the burnout. Another big thanks goes out to Drury Motorcycles, Des and his team did the tyre changes for the burnout – cheers guys/gals.
The amount of tome, effort and resources put in by these guys has been huge, which we are all grateful for – Thank You!

As per usual there is a firm rule of NO B.Y.O. … Why you may ask? This is because it breaches our liquor license. I’m sure none of you would want to be the reason there’s no refreshments at the Cold Kiwi! Confiscations apply. Please support the RMCC by buying at the bar and help keep the rally going!
On another note, the land the rally is held on is once again a private farm, with a huge area of it being kindly lent to us for the weekend.
Under NO circumstances are you to enter the property outside of rally times. Also please stay within the boundaries laid out by the club.
We are very greatful to the Frew family for allowing the Cold Kiwi to be held on their land and would appreciate your respect in this matter.
The RMCC hopes you have a safe and happy ride to and from the rally.
See ya there, enjoy!
