We’ve added some video footage from the 2016 Cold Kiwi, Six Chairs Missing have been entertaining the crowds for many a year at the Kiwi and they’re gonna return this year to kick Friday night off with a bang.

Question has come up on Cold Kiwi Facebook regarding Campervans etc so here it is from the RMCC . All camping is in the Event Area , No Camping in the Carpark .No cars are permitted into the Event Area . There is area to park near the Gate , recommended for light vehicles . No Parking anywhere on the side of the road from the entrance at Matapuna Road to the Event Area , this is the access for the Fonterra milk tanker. There may be some asssistance getting gear into the Event Area . No BYO at all . Any questions email firstname.lastname@example.org
Question that has come up for Completed Orders . You can print out a copy of the email you receive to say your payment has been received and Order Status is Completed Order but you can save it in your smart phone and show that at the gate.
Paying by credit card ? Sorry, we don’t have a credit card facility, but you can use your online banking to pay by credit card , be aware that you may be charged as a cash advance . Good news is that there will be Eftpos at the site.

Yep it’s all ready to go . Click on SHOP or any one of the products to the right and place your orders . You will need to open a new account when you have finished shopping and then you will receive an email with Internet Banking Details . Once we have verified your payment ( allow us a couple of days please ) you will receive an Order Complete email to print out and bring to the gate to pick up your tickets.
Prepay and save $10 off the Gate Price and $2 off the badge price .
All pre pay tickets go in a prize draw on Friday and Saturday nights . You must be in the marquee at the time of the draw.
In the meantime the 20 or so members of the Ruapehu Motor Cycle Club are working on getting it all set up for this year . The club relies on help from many others as well .So far the firewood is sorted and the bonfire getting close . Paper work to get the liqour licence is underway too. The grass in the paddock is well established and firm underfoot.
We have sponsors who are very generous and supply the prizes for events etc . Outstanding contribution is the brand new Nolan helmet prize for the Hill Climb Dash. Also to mention the Horopito locals who man the rail-crossing when the trains are running. Additionally there is there security team who patrol the Rally Site all night to make sure you are all safe and sound, along with medics that are on duty 24/7 with band-aids and the like. Not to mention the guys who bought the 4-wheelers to help with the gate transfers . The list goes on.
